Maritime and International Trade expert joins UK law firm TLT

TLT has appointed Anastasia Papadopoulou, as a legal director to the firm’s Maritime and International Trade team. She will be based out of TLT’s London office.

Anastasia joins from Clyde & Co LLP and has extensive experience in ship finance and commercial shipping matters.
She has advised owners/financial institutions on their term loan facilities for the acquisition of second-hand ships or newbuildings or for restructuring purposes, and complex revolving credit facilities and lease finance transactions, and on Islamic finance deals. Anastasia also advises on ship sale and purchase and registration, on bareboat charter parties and bareboat flagging, on settlement agreements, pool agreements and ship management agreements.
TLT’s Maritime and International Trade team, operating out the firm’s London and Piraeus offices (which provides ship finance advice under the Constant & Constant name), advise on the full range of finance and commercial issues involving a diverse range of vessels traded worldwide, from tankers to dry bulk carriers to the latest LNG ships, and from luxury yachts to the largest superyachts (in excess of £100 million).
