With only two points plus the BDI closed earlier on today at 690, proving two things, which we have numerous times stressed in the past: Unsustainability and Uncertainty!
The Capers were only two points up at 1, 087; the Panamaxes and the respective BPI down nine at 727; the Supras’ BSI up four at 563 and the Handies’ BHSI just two points plus at 356 makes another bleak picture.
The Wets on an “upwards” course with the BDTI and BCTI at 775 (plus five) and 556 (plus six) respectively – an interesting wet situ!
The Reefer Trade becomes a liability; all change… err, all frozen!

The Migrants still continue to be the major issue – Mrs. Merkel’s visit to Turkey and the camp at Nizip, off the border with Syria, failed to convince us of the true situation. Will she accept to be taken incognito around to see the reality? Equally the Christiandom’s unity call from the Greek island of Lesvos last week, should have included the presence of Mehmet Görmez, the head of the Religious Affairs Directorate in Turkey and others from Islam so to speak, as well as the Chief Rabbi in Jerusalem Shlomo Moshe Amar, and all together to address THE Unity message! Don’t ask my view on Mr. Tusk’s view on the situation…Time will tell when the end result strike’s us all; wake up!
The US Presidential Election now begins to make sense; wait to see the big surprise!
BREXIT is still an issue and the Referendum will be won by the one who capitulates on the real issues of the British people! Whatever the result, Europe must get its act together and streamline real economic governance. Did I hear you say European Constitution?
