Sharing emergency transport with communities

Our team has been visiting communities in Adamawa State, Nigeria, to raise awareness of the emergency transport scheme (ETS), which encourages local taxi drivers to transport the women to health centres free of charge, or at minimal cost.Check out our Knowledge Centre for case studies about the ETS in Nigeria, as well as similar programmes in Zambia and Madagascar here

Wincanton’s 999 mile challenge

Transaid CEO Gary Forster received a cheque for more than £32,000, which was donated by Wincanton as a result of their Land’s End to John O’Groats challenge. Staff cycled 999 miles to commemorate the company’s 90th anniversary.
