| Revetment reinstatement works will be carried out at Sakra Natural Gas Station, Jurong Island, from 16 to 27 January 2017.According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.9 of 2017, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily- including Sundays & Public Holidays – in the vicinity of Sinki Fairway, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum): 1) 01 deg. 15.127’N / 103 deg. 41.992’E 2) 01 deg. 15.102’N / 103 deg. 42.001’E 3) 01 deg. 15.093’N / 103 deg. 41.975’E 4) 01 deg. 15.119’N / 103 deg. 41.967’EThe reinstatement works include the removal of sunken revetment, repairing the damage geotextile and topping up work. The works will be carried out by excavators and the materials for the restoration work will be transported by the work barges. Safety boats will be deployed in the vicinity to warn other craft of the working area. Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals. | From 16 to 19 January, testing of an underwater vehicle will be carried out off the Staging Ground.According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.8 of 2017, the testing will be conducted from 0900 to 1800 hours within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum): 1) 01 deg. 18.756’N / 104 deg. 00.976’E 2) 01 deg. 18.425’N / 104 deg. 00.976’E 3) 01 deg. 18.425’N / 104 deg. 00.784’E 4) 01 deg. 18.756’N / 104 deg. 00.784’EA work boat will be used to launch and recover the underwater vehicle. | For approximately 6 months, marine works involving seawall reinstatement will be carried out in the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline: (A) 22 deg. 24.686’N / 113 deg. 54.370’E (B) 22 deg. 24.715’N / 113 deg. 54.271’E (C) 22 deg. 24.797’N / 113 deg. 54.355’E (D) 22 deg. 24.705’N / 113 deg. 54.391’EThe works will be carried out by one derrick lighter. One tugboat and one work boat will provide assistance.A working area of approximately 50 metres will be established around the derrick lighter. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the derrick lighter. A silt curtain, extending from the sea surface to the seabed, will be established within the works area. The silt curtain is a large piece of netting used to contain mud and sediments. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the extent of the silt curtains. The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
