The Port Anniversary in Hamburg (German: “Hafengeburtstag”) is the biggest harbour festival in the world. With more than 300 ships from all over the world, spectacular displays and lots of live music the 828th anniversary festivities will present a varied maritime programme in the unique setting of the Port of Hamburg. The Hamburg Port Authority plays an important role in the preparation and organisation of this mega event. It takes place on 5-7 May, in this episode of smartPORT TV we take a look behind the scenes.
