Pansy Tsang

International commercial law firm Hill Dickinson has appointed senior associate Pansy Tsang to join its Hong Kong office.

Joining from Szwina Pang, Edward Li & Co and previously Howse Williams Bowers, Pansy specialises in personal injury and employees’ compensation litigation in both minor and catastrophic injuries as well as having vast experience of medical negligence claims.

Pansy also has significant experience in handling claims and applications under the Mental Health Ordinance regarding mentally incapacitated persons as well as probate issues in respect of fatal accidents. She will work closely with Hong Kong office principal, Damien Laracy, Fontaine Lai and Joni Wong on personal injury and medical defence work.

Commenting on Pansy’s appointment, Damien Laracy, said: “We are delighted to welcome Pansy to the team. She brings a wealth of experience to the role and her skill set will enhance our offering in personal injury defence work.”

Pansy added: “I am delighted with the opportunity to build a solid personal injury and clinical practice in the Hong Kong office. Hill Dickinson has an unrivalled reputation in personal injury practice, handling both passenger and crew issues from minor to major incidents involving fatal and catastrophic injuries. The firm is also renowned in defending clinical negligence claims and advising in the healthcare sector so it is the perfect fit for me.”

Earlier this month, Hill Dickinson successfully completed its transition in Hong Kong, following a three year period of association with local firm Laracy & Co.
