The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) lost 38 points since yesterday and now stands at 2,530 with Capes’ BCI suffering another triple-digit loss… Wets might cause an upheaval despite soaring oil prices… Geopolitics for strong nerves whilst Covid-19’s mess and uncertainty continues; John Faraclas’ midweek brief recap:
The Capes’ BCI remained the culprit of the BDI’s fall. Minus 156 points and now stands at 2,862…
Panamaxes’ BPI “surges” with 54 points plus, now reading 2,855 points…
A point up and a point down respectively for the Supras’ and Handies’; the BSI at 2,456 and the BHSI at 1,338…

Appropriate behaviour is needed in tackling the Coronavirus’ Anathema; citizens must be disciplined and politicians responsible despite easing protocols and other measures. Green, Amber or Red List, the danger is everywhere!!!! A must to vaccinate by the end of the ear the 25 centum in all countries all over Planet Ocean. A must to ensure we have a medicine off the shelve by the end of 2022!
