According to my …Man in Habana who was present, worth noting that it was a “very well attended event, but …no opportunity for the audience to ask/share questions publicly.”
Moreover, “Unusually for a shipping event 50/50 men/women participation”; excellemous as we say!.
Add the fact that “Most panellists from large/listed companies who have resources to deal with ESG expectations”.
Worth noting that “Small companies still not convinced there is any commercial advantage in joining the ESG bandwagon since charterers/ports/banks do not offer any premiums.”; I guess this will change one way or another…
Finally, it was “Good to share thoughts/experiences/aspirations and very much appreciate the good organisation”.
