ITOPF has just published its Annual Review for 2024. This report incorporates financial statements for the year ending 20th February 2024 and provides notice of its Annual General Meeting in London on 13th November.
In the Review, Chairman, Erik Hånell, President & CEO of Stena Bulk, reports on the successes of ITOPF’s Singapore office a year after opening and the extensive work it has undertaken in the Asia-Pacific region since. Erik goes on to cover ITOPF marking its 55th anniversary, as well as some of the organisation’s activities in ESG and work in advancing its knowledge and expertise on alternative fuels.
ITOPF attended seven new incidents in the year under review, with five involving tankers and the remainder comprised of one passenger vessel and one container vessel. In addition, technical advice was provided remotely in response to incidents throughout the year. The team also undertook numerous contingency planning and advisory assignments.
