Earlier in October, the latest BinForGreenSeas was opened in Windsor. GreenSeas Trust are extremely excited to have placed one of our eye-catching BinsForGreenSeas in the town that is home to the Royals, Eton College, and Windsor Castle.
Our latest BinForGreenSeas was unveiled on October 23rd 2024 as part of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead’s initiative for a cleaner and greener borough.
The BinForGreenSeas is located on Barry Avenue, close to the Diamond Jubilee Water Fountain and was opened by the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
As a major tourist destination attracting millions each year, Windsor faces significant waste disposal challenges. The new bin, strategically located along one of Windsor’s most frequented walkways in a high-traffic area along the Thames, aims to help maintain the area’s cleanliness. The bin will encourage responsible waste disposal, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment for both residents and visitors.
