Abu Dhabi Terminals has advised that as this Saturday (4 February) is a holiday marking Milad Al Nabi, the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, routine operational activities will be conducted on an overtime basis in line with their tariff.

DATE: February 02, 2012-COUNTRY: Singapore-PORT: Singapore Construction of wharf at Tuas View
The working area and period have been revised for the construction of a wharf at Tuas View.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.13 of 2012, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays and Public Holidays – until 30 June 2012, within the area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum): A) 01° 17.615’N / 103° 38.811’E B) 01° 17.482’N / 103° 38.979’E C) 01° 17.417’N / 103° 38.833’E D) 01° 17.588’N / 103° 38.745’E
The construction works will entail piling, removal of rocks from pile location, precast installation and concrete works.
Dredging works will be carried out within the working area.
Crane barges and flat top barges will be used for transportation of steel piles and pre-cast concrete elements.
A safety boat will be in attendance throughout the duration of the construction works to warn other craft of the works in the vicinity.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to: (a) keep well clear and not to enter the working area; (b) maintain a proper lookout; (c) proceed at a safe speed & navigate with caution; (d) maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control); and (e) communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.

Beginning 1 February 2012, Mexican pilotage tariffs have been increased nationwide.
The increases for Coatzacolacos (Pajaritos), Dos Bocas, Cayo Arcas Salina Cruz, Tampico, Madeo, Altamira and Tuxpan are as follows:
COATZA PAJARITOS – Old tariff (x GRT) : 0.288 – New tariff (x GRT) : 0.302 – Percentage increase: 4.86%
DOS BOCAS – Old tariff (x GRT) : 0.247 – New tariff (x GRT) : 0.259 – Percentage increase: 4.85%
CAYO ARCAS – Old tariff (x GRT) : 0.254 – New tariff (x GRT) : 0.265 – Percentage increase: 4.33%
SALINA CRUZ – Old tariff (x GRT) : 0.182 – New tariff (x GRT) : 0.191 – Percentage increase: 4.94%
SALINA CRUZ BERTH 9 – Old tariff (x GRT) : 0.347 – New tariff (x GRT) : 0.360 – Percentage increase: 3.74%
TAMPICO MADERO – Old tariff (x GRT) : 0.288 – New tariff (x GRT) : 0.302 – Percentage increase: 4.86%
ALTAMIRA – Old tariff (x GRT) : 0.265 – New tariff (x GRT) : 0.275 – Percentage increase: 3.77%
TUXPAN – Old tariff (x GRT) : 0.247 – New tariff (x GRT) : 0.259 – Percentage increase: 4.85%
According to the authorities, this tariff will be increased again on 31 January 2013.
