DATE: November 24, 2012 COUNTRY: Chile PORT: all ports Change to land line phone numbers
The Chilean Government has started a project to change landline phone numbers. This change will be gradual, starting from 24 November in the capital, Santiago.
The digit “2” will be added before existing telephone number. There will be no changes to dialing for cell phones.
