Breakdown at coal terminal
A major break-down has been reported at Port Kembla Coal Terminal (PKCT)
with electrical issues causing the failure of the stacker No.1.
The engineering team has assessed the condition of the drive and determined
it to be unrepairable. Subsequently, parallel options are being explored to
remedy the situation as swiftly as possible. The most likely solution is to
replace the drive, which expected to take three days.
No Rail deliveries will be possible until pm Saturday (29 June).
Meanwhile, road receivals continue on ‘Turn of Arrival’ priority.
A separate notification will be issued in case a Force Majeure is declared.

Partial interdiction of navigation channel
Between 11:00 and 17:00 hours local time tomorrow (28 June) the Santos
Navigation Channel will be interdicted from Shed 23 to Shed 29 for
overthrow services.
