Waterfront From 20 September 2014 to 10 January 2015, repair and construction works will be carried out at Sentosa Cove Waterfront.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.120 of 2014 dated 18 September, the works will be conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays & Public Holidays – within the two working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
WORKING AREA 1 1) 1° 14.344’N / 103° 50.186’E 2) 1° 14.326’N / 103° 50.198’E 3) 1° 14.380’N / 103° 50.223’E 4) 1° 14.379’N / 103° 50.209’E
WORKING AREA 2 6) 1° 14.613’N / 103° 50.477’E 7) 1° 14.608’N / 103° 50.498’E 8) 1° 14.692’N / 103° 50.518’E 9) 1° 14.697’N / 103° 50.497’E
Repair and construction works will entail removal of existing pontoon and installation of new pontoon with gangway.
Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to: (a) keep well clear and not to enter the working area; (b) maintain a proper lookout; (c) proceed at a safe speed & navigate with caution; (d) maintain a listening watch on VHF channel 68; and (e) communicate with West Control on VHF 68 for assistance, if required.
