The reputational impact to the spiller is significantly increased and the involvement of governmental and non-governmental agencies multiplies. This session reviews developments in best practice for shoreline clean-up.
Chair: Jeff Patry, Manager – Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response, ChevronThe Macondo incident initiated or re-invigorated a number of joint industry projects where oil companies under the auspices of OGP, IPIECA and API have pooled their resources to address key issues in oil spill preparedness and response. This workshop reviews deliverables from these projects and discusses their future direction.

This workshop presents an overview of the aim and objectives of this.
