Irene St. Daifas
The Election for the Board of Directors of the Piraeus Marine Club for the term of 2016 to 2019 took place earlier on today.
Irene Daifas of Stavros Daifas Marine Enterprises SA was elected the new President of the Club, George Alexandratos of Apollonia Lines as Vice President, George Spiliopoulos of Spiliopoulos Law Office as Secretary and Maria Prevezanou of Evmar re-elected to the position of Treasurer, having served on the board in this position for many years successfully.
It was a nice surprise to see on the Board for the first time Dorothea Ioannou, Managing Director of SCB Hellas Ltd. and Global Business Development Director of the American P&I Club. Dorothea has also been appointed the assistant treasurer.

Other Board members elected to make up the total of nine board seats are George Xylas of Ariston, George Gourdomichalis of Phoenix Shipping & Trading, Ilias Tsakiris, of HHM as Managers of the American Hellenic and Evangelos S. Marinakis of Prodromos Lines.
We wish the new Board a successful term and continue to ensure providing a place for the shipping cluster to gather.
