International law firm Ince & Co has announced the move of its Le Havre office on 20 February 2107 to 15 Quai Lamandé, located in the heart of the city’s port. Le Havre is the second largest port in France, after that of Marseille, for total traffic, and the largest French container port.
The new 3600 sq. ft. office will adopt an open-plan arrangement and will benefit from the introduction of various technologies to help improve efficiency and client service. These include Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablets for all members of the team and latest generation Wi-Fi with increased capacity and security. The new office will also benefit from enhanced client facilities, including modern meeting rooms and a video conferencing system.
The relocation of Ince & Co’s Le Havre office follows that of the firm’s Hong Kong and London offices last year, which also took advantage of the latest office design and underpinning technologies. In addition to moving closer to a number of shipping and insurance companies based in the port, including CMA CGM, Hapag Lloyd and Helvetia, the new office will enable improved internal communication and help to rationalise the use of space.
Jérôme de Sentenac, Managing Partner of the Ince & Co’s Paris, Le Havre and Marseille offices, commented:
“Moving to this strategic area of Le Havre, which has direct access to the port, will enable us to get even closer to many of our most important clients and improve the service that we are able to offer them. In addition, the new working environment will encourage greater collaboration between our fee earners and business services teams.”
Jan Heuvels, Ince & Co’s International Senior Partner, adds:
“The relocation of our Le Havre office to modern premises follows the successful relocation of our offices in Hong Kong and London last year. It is the latest example of the considerable investment that we are making in our firm. In recent months we have opened in Marseille and Cologne, and launched Ince Consultancy LLP. Over the last 18 months we have also appointed 24 new partners, 14 of whom have been new hires. As a result of this investment, we are projecting a 15% year-on-year increase in turnover by financial year end.”
