Announcing this year’s event theme: Action with Vision

The best minds in business, academia and politics are convening at the next Delphi Economic Forum from 5-8 March 2020. As our preparations gather pace, we are pleased to announce the theme for this year’s event: Action with Vision.

Our lineup of speakers continues to grow, ensuring that the Delphi Economic Forum is the epicentre of the highest level of insights and expertise for you to enjoy.

The following new additions to our lineup will be joining us at the forum:

Jean-Claude Trichet

Jean-Claude Trichet current serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bruegel Institute in Brussels and European Chairman of the Trilateral Commission. Prior to this, he served as president of the European Central Bank between 2003 to 2011.

Maria Demertzis

Maria Demertzis is Deputy Director at Bruegel, the Brussels-based think tank. Her previous experience includes the European Commission and the research department of the Dutch Central Bank.

Fred Teng

Alongside his role at the American China Public Affairs Institute, Fred Teng is also involved in a number of organisations where his knowledge on US/China relations is sought. These include the China-United States Exchange Foundation, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, and the DIAGEO’s Multicultural Marketing Advisory Group.

Matthew Rojansky

Matthew Rojansky is a regular face at Congressional briefings and is frequently invited onto prime-time news shows to offer his expert opinion. As a leading analyst on US relations with Russia, Ukraine, and the wider region, his expertise has been sought by governments and international organisations on Eurasian conflicts.

Rudolf Scholten

Rudolf Scholten is the current president of the Bruno Kreisky Forum for International Dialogue. The Bruno Kreisky Forum for International Dialogue is a think-tank that fosters dialogue and opportunities for politicians, scientists and intellectuals from around the world to come together to exchange ideas and analysis.

Susan Thornton

Susan Thornton is a highly experienced member of the State Department where she has forged her career since 1991. Before this, she worked as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for East Asian Affairs as well as the Deputy Chief of Mission to the United States Embassy in Turkmenistan.
