Case study: Fall into cargo hold results in fatality
The Club would like to draw Members’ attention to an unfortunate incident that resulted in the death of a crew member after he fell from a height during cargo operations.
The following case study provides the background details of the incident, observations noted and recommendations to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
The Club would also like to encourage Members to share their own experiences, including examples of best practice with the Loss Prevention team.
