Temporary restrictions on entry of travelers

Following up on the dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic reported by the World Health Organisation in India, Indonesia’s Directorate General of Immigration has announced the following in effect from 24 April:
To prevent Imported Case Covid-19, Immigration Officials at Immigration Checkpoints will refuse entry to foreigners who have a history of travel from India within 14 (fourteen) days before entering Indonesian territory.
Granting a visit visa and a limited stay visa for Indian citizens is temporarily suspended.
For Indonesian citizens who have a history of travel from India within 14 (fourteen) days before entering Indonesian territory can only enter through:
a. Immigration Checkpoints Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang;
b. Immigration Checkpoints Juanda Airport in Surabaya;
c. Immigration Checkpoints Kualanamu Airport in Medan;
d. Immigration Checkpoints Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado;
e. Immigration Checkpoints Batam Centre Seaport in Batam;
f. Immigration Checkpoints Sri Bintan Pura Seaport in Tanjung Pinang; and
g. Immigration Checkpoints Dumai Seaport in Dumai

Disembarkation of off-signing crew forbidden for ships arriving from India

Fujairah Immigration has verbally advised that, with immediate effect, if a vessel’s last port of call is India, signing-off crew are not allowed to disembark at Fujairah. This applies for all nationals.

India added as ‘High Risk’

South Korea added India to its list of COVID-19 High Risk countries on 24 April.
That list now contains: France, Philippines, United Kingdom, South Africa, Russia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India.
As per the quarantine regulations, a negative COVID19 certificate must be submitted for all personnel onboard arriving at Korean ports.

Quarantine period increased
Monday, April 26, 2021, Malaysia
People entering Malaysia from countries where the South African variant of COVID-19 is present – the UK, South Africa, Brazil and Japan – must undergo a 14-day quarantine, an increase to the previous 10-days.
They also need to take a swab test from the country of origin, three days before flying to Malaysia, and will be required to download the MySejahtera app on their mobile devices.
On the 10th day of quarantine, another swab test will be performed.

Banks, authorities & port administrations to close for holidays

Russian banks, authorities and port administrations will be closed from Saturday 1 May through to 10 May due to public holidays including Labour Day and the Orthodox Easter.
The first working day in Russia will be Tuesday 11 May, except for Krasnodar region where due an additional regional holiday, most of the people, banks, authorities, etc will return to work on Wednesday 12 May.
The holidays will not have any impact on oil/products terminals mooring and loading schedules.
