Chios Marine Club’s Christmas get together

The Annual Christmas gathering of the Chios Marine Club’s members, took place last Wednesday at the recreation room of the Club’s premises downtown in Piraeus with a large number of participants – members and guests.

Members exchanged wishes for the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, while all protocols regarding the covid-19 pandemic were observed. Excellent dips and drinks were served as well as traditional Christmas sweets.

The President Capt. Antonis Pitsilos and the Board warmly thanked all those present and wished everyone have a Happy Festive Season with Good Health above all! He also referred to the Club’s annual desk diary which was on all counts a success having as front cover the Blue and White stripes Greek Flag honouring the bicentennial of the Greek War of Independence 1821 – 2021. He also thanked also all those sponsors, member-companies and supporters, a good chance for some members to collect same.

Hopefuly the traditional Pitta Cutting Event of the Club, is scheduled for Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Athens Marriott Hotel and members will be informed with a relevant announcement.
