GOOD CATCH UPDATE: SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SMS) DOCUMENTS BLOWN OVERBOARD! (BUNKERING OPERATIONS)

Bunkering should be looked on as a high-risk operation and steps should be taken to mitigate those risks. Conduct a detailed pre-bunkering meeting to coordinate the operation and establish a bunker plan that ensures adequate and reliable communication between the vessel and the bunker barge.
