Since the creation of the European Union taxonomy in 2020, more than 30 green taxonomies have been in development globally. Taxonomies are becoming crucial in defining criteria for sustainable activities, yet many organisations and industries transitioning remain excluded.
More work needs to be done to ensure a standardised approach to reporting.
