IMO Assembly 34 – The LR Summary Report is now available

Applicability: Shipowners, ship managers, ships’ crews, ship designers, shipyards and equipment manufacturers.
 
The IMO Assembly is convened every two years to adopt the IMO’s future strategy and budget, in addition to technical resolutions. The Assembly also elects members of the IMO Council. 
 
Key outcomes from Assembly 34 were the adoption of the following new instruments:

​​​Code on Alerts and Indicators, 2025 (A.1204(34)).
​​​​​ Procedures for Port State Control, 2025 (A.1206(34)).
 Survey Guidelines under the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification (HSSC), 2025
(A.1207(34)).
  2025 Non-exhaustive list of obligations under instruments relevant to the IMO Instruments
Implementation Code (III Code) (A.1208(34)).
