It is our earnest hope for a turn to Peace all over Planet Ocean, although hope alone will not solve the urgent problems confronting the 8 billion souls nervous of what the future holds.
Conscious of the slaughter taking place in Ukraine and the Middle East in addition to other critical conflicts – at the specific points we have highlighted in our Death of Diplomacy series, now up to Episode 12, the need of the hour is for fresh, wide-ranging solutions to end territorial and trade greed and corruption.
We send salutations to those at sea and onshore in the maritime and associated industries and services, underlining the ever more important role of Women in the modernisation and success of such sectors; and to all who care for the environment by their practical support for safer and cleaner seas and tighter control over noxious emissions.
