As Monaco prepares to honour Saint Devota, a comprehensive security and traffic plan will be in place on Monday, January 26, to ensure the smooth running of the traditional procession, religious ceremony and the symbolic burning of the boat on Quai Albert Ier. From 17:30, security checkpoints, bag inspections and designated public viewing areas will be established around Place Sainte-Dévote and the northern section of Quai Albert Ier. Pedestrian access through the Sainte-Dévote valley and stairway will be closed, with railway passengers required to use the Sainte-Dévote gallery, while several roads and bus routes will face temporary closures and diversions during the early evening. Authorities are urging residents and visitors to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel, thanking the public for their cooperation as the Principality comes together for one of its most important traditional celebrations.
