Monaco is preparing to welcome a series of major international film and television productions, including season four of The White Lotus, scenes from season six of Emily in Paris, and a 1960s-set prequel to Ocean’s Eleven reportedly directed by Bradley Cooper and produced by Margot Robbie. Speaking on Monaco Info, Audiovisual Institute director Vincent Vatrican explained that Monaco’s glamour, history and cinematic heritage continue to make the Principality an irresistible setting for filmmakers, despite the growing logistical challenges of shooting in the city-state.

Vatrican revealed that the production team behind the Ocean’s Eleven prequel had discreetly consulted the Institute’s archives to recreate Monaco during the 1962 Grand Prix as accurately as possible. He also confirmed that the Audiovisual Institute is actively working on a future exhibition dedicated to Monaco’s rich cinematic history, which includes more than 230 productions filmed in the Principality.
