Shipping Innovation, owner and manager of London International Shipping Week 2027 (LISW27), is delighted to welcome back the Bahamas Maritime Authority (BMA) as official LISW27 sponsor of the Routemaster Red London Buses that will be chartered to take guests home after the headline Gala Dinner.
The buses were a massive hit during LISW25 when they ferried guests from the Evolution London venue in London’s Battersea Park to nearby tube stations. It was like going back in time, said one passenger, as he dinged the Red London Bus bell for old times’ sake.
The BMA also joins a host of other companies who have come on as LISW27 sponsors. They include the leading maritime training provider Stream Marine Technical (SMT), who we welcome as an LISW27 Gold sponsor; and Twenty Essex, the maritime barristers’ chambers, who has come onboard as a Silver sponsor.
LISW27 will bring together leaders from across the international maritime, shipping, commercial, finance, legal, insurance, technology and logistics sectors for a week of high-level debate, networking and business engagement in London.
Sean Moloney, co-founder and joint CEO of LISW, said: “We’re delighted to welcome our friends the BMA as Gala Dinner Transport sponsors of LISW27, as well as our latest Gold and Silver sponsors, representing an impressive cross-section of the international maritime industry.
“Their involvement highlights the depth and diversity of expertise that continues to underpin London’s position as a leading global shipping centre, spanning marine insurance, legal and dispute resolution services, technical consultancy, maritime intelligence and flag registration. With their support, LISW27 will once again bring the global maritime community together to connect, collaborate and shape the conversations that matter,” he said.
