“Avon-les-Roches” with a total capacity of 10. 8 MWp
HAMBURG/KIEL After recently providing funding for part of the largest solar farm in Europe, in Toul, HSH Nordbank is now financing a further major project in the region, “Avon-les-Roches”. This solar farm, which was developed by the utility EDF Energies Nou-velles, has a total nominal capacity of 10.8 MWp. It has been bought by the independent investment company Aquila Capital (Hamburg), which has linked it to special fund for insti-tutional investors. HSH Nordbank has made long-term project finance amounting to almost EUR 32 million available to Aquila Capital. Aquila Capital was assisted in structuring the project by the transaction consultant LNF Energy (Hamburg), which specialises in renewa-ble energies.
