La Ciotat, 17 June 2015 – Performance Yacht Painting (PYP), a leading specialist in superyacht and megayacht paintwork, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Hydrasud activities at la Ciotat in the South of France. Founded over ten years ago within the La Ciotat shipyards, Hydrasud was one of the first sub-contractors to establish its business in the area following the reconversion of the Normed shipyard.
The new site features a sand blasting shed as well as an atmospherically controlled paint shed with temperature and humidity regulation.
This acquisition complements PYP’s pre-existing business on the la Ciotat site where the company has already undertaken a large number of paint refits on prestigious yachts such as MY Oxygène (42m), MY Raasta (47m), MY Rising Sun (138m), MY Sky (50m), Addiction (52m), Mary Jean II (62m)….
