The traffic movement within MSP has been divided in two routes. The ferries and bumboats shall use the recommended routes as indicated.

Masters of harbour craft shall proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution when approaching MSP and Kusu Island jetties.

The following buoys will be laid on 6 October 2015 and will be removed on 12 November 2015:

All harbour craft, except ferries operated by Singapore Island Cruise and Ferries Pte Ltd, plying to and from Kusu Island (Pulau Tembakul) shall:
a. keep within the channel demarcated by the Kusu Beacon (Fl R 2.5s) and the yellow polyethylene channel buoy in position Lat 01 deg. 13′.526N / Long 103 deg. 51′.427E when approaching and leaving Kusu Jetty;
b. only use the harbour craft jetty at Kusu Island (Pulau Tembakul) for the purpose of embarking and disembarking passengers. This harbour craft jetty is located about 65 metres northwest of the Main Passenger jetty. All these harbour craft must not proceed beyond 10 metres southeast of their allocated jetty. To avoid traffic congestion in the vicinity, no harbour craft shall wait at the entrance of the channel or at the jetty.

The two yellow polyethylene mooring buoys located off Pulau Sakijang Pelepah, are meant for harbour craft to moor temporarily while awaiting passengers.

The construction  of  jetties  will include  reclamation  work,   installation  of concrete blocks, laying of geotextile, sand bedding and leveling works.

The deployment of ADCP will be carried out by divers.

A  safety  boat  will  be  deployed  in  the  vicinity  to  warn  other  craft  about  the work.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear of the borehole points;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 (East Control);
and
e) Communicate with East Control on VHF Channel 12 for assistance, if required.

Reclamation work will involve dredging, construction of revetment, soil investigation and soil improvement work.

Soil improvement work will entail stabilized dredging, sand piling and deep cement mixing. The dredgers will be used for the bund construction within the working area.

Safety boat will be in attendance at all times to warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:

a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
