World acclaimed astrophysicist Dr. Stamatis Krimizis resigns

Dr. Stamatis M. Krimizis

Given what takes place in Greece lately, the resignation of world acclaimed academic Dr. Stamatis Krimizis didn’t surprised me at all! John Faraclas reports from London:

The distinguished compatriot of mine, emanating from Vrontados, Chios, Greece, resigned from his position as director of Greece’s newly established Hellenic Space Agency (HSA) just weeks into his tenure. We hope to bring you a good translation of his lengthy letter so you can fully get the message. In short he accuses Telecomms Minister Niko Pappas of making decisions which effectively annulled the HAS’s entire purpose! He also referred to the secretary for comms Vassili Manglaras who sought to undermine the agency chief’s authority and command from the onset… Pity!

The head emeritus of the Space Department Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University in the United States – Honorary Director of NASA’s Space Programmes,  who was honoured back in 1999 by the International Astronomical Union to have an asteroid – the  named after him 8323 Krimizis – previously known as 1979 UH, preferred his dignity rather than bow to today’s rotten system of people, actions and manipulations.
