The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) fell ten points earlier on today and now reads 1,097, thanks to the as ever volatile Capes. Geopolitics turn to become soon a Yellowstone… John Faraclas brief daily recap:
The Capes’ BCI lost 36 points and now stands at 1,623…
Just three points plus for the Panamaxes’ BPI now reading 1,340!
The Handies’ BSI fall continues; minus seven and now standing at 756 points…
Another two valuable points for the Handies’ BHSI now at 397…
The Wets once again with mixed feelings; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 651 – minus seven points and 541 plus two respectively.
The WTI ended up at US$ 56.50… shall we say: Hooray hooray eh!
Burning issues all over Planet Ocean make Geopolitics more than explosive. We have mentioned a few hints for the Balkans and wait to see the outcome.
