Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards returns to Athenaeum InterContinental

After receiving a large number of nominations for the 2021 Greek Shipping Awards, organisers are now receiving bookings for the December 3 Awards Dinner

The 2021 Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards will be returning to its traditional venue, the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel for the highly popular annual awards event on Friday, 3 December 2021, organisers have confirmed.

Bookings for tables and individual places at the traditional end-of-year presentation dinner are now available online.

Launched in 2004, the annual Greek Shipping Awards has attracted audiences of 1,000 guests or more but 2020 marked a departure from tradition due to the pandemic, with the event being held online with great success.

The maximum attendance for this year’s event has been reduced slightly in response to the pandemic and bookings will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

A huge number of nominations spread across the 18 different award categories was received by the deadline for entries and the winners will be determined by a prestigious panel of judges broadly representing Greek shipping and the country’s maritime cluster.

Strong support for this year’s Awards is led by overall Event Sponsor ClassNK. The welcome drinks are sponsored by Erma First while China Classification Society is once again offering the champagne toast to Greek shipping’s health. They are backed up by a roster of prestigious Greek and international sponsors of the individual awards.

Bookings can be made online or call the Event Coordination Office on +30 210 42 91 195. Please see below for an updated list of the Awards and their sponsors. For more information or booking online, visit www.greekshippingawards.gr
