The die is cast and on 21st of May over nine million greeks listed in the electoral register will vote – lets see how many will go to the poll stations, in possibly the most crucial election of all times given the local and international circumstances.

The Economy, Scandals, Foreign Policy are the three most important issues and lets see which government can safely tackle same.

Above all, we need to see the credentials and KPI’s of all candidates from all parties taking part in this crucial election.

We need to see the CV’s of all as well as their success in private business life and in politics as with the current state of affairs those who have ruled Greece until now, mainly from the three major parties ND, Syriza and Pasok, as well as from some small coalition parties, have spectacularly failed to deliver. Needless to say we need to see a prioritised program which will eliminate excuses – like in the latest rail accident a month ego at Tembi, off Larisa!

The state of the real Economy, the Accidents that took place since 1974, the Foreign Policy, the real relations with the European Union and NATO and most importantly Healthcare and Education must be sorted out as with the current state of affairs on the above mentioned issues nor governments has brought real and successful progress for Greece and its people.

Also, we hope to see a real and just electoral system, with one candidate per party per constituency so as to avoid favouritism – as we have here in the United Kingdom.

Lastly, need to see women candidates and conversely ministers at a 50 (fifty) centum level. Learn from WISTAs (Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association)!

Politicians should learn from the success story AND facts of Greece’s shipowners, Rulers of the Seven Seas. Their KPI’s* are second to none. They are the Leaders. We have numerous times in our speeches in UK Universities as well as on TV mentioned the issue of Leadership and we adhere to it!

Wishing for a smooth election and just governance or else!
