The Red Sea: a very conspicuous adversity…

by admin

The critical situation in the Red Sea given the Houthi jeopardy must end here and now.

John Faraclas talks live on Vergina TV on yet another Geopolitical Crisis interwoven with the Middle East mess following the Hamas’ and Israelis carnage with despicable repercussions yet to come if not contained, here and now…

He referred to:

Insurance premium rising from 0,1 – 0,2 centum at the beginning of December to 0,5 centum now.… A very important development…

Obviously as Faraclas said, we are dealing with difficult people; people with irate, rude, impatient and aggressive character… If all remedies fail whilst “confronting” them, then you know the “maxim”: “Nobody become all that bad all at once”, which applies at people homes, block of flats, neighbourhoods, villages, towns, cities, nations given their behaviour…

He continued with the Naval situation with respect of fleets in the region saying that “Egypt posses Navy but Saudi Arabia doesn’t” so we must have a new Mandate and bring the EU and NATO. The last CTF 153 was back in April 2023… need another operation Atlanta, like the one in the Horn of Africa…

Indeed the USA is in a pre-election period but it is a MUST they interfere…

Iran MUST realise that playing with fire will only make things worse…

Europe must get its act together; leadership another MUST!! If the EU had leadership, the Ukranian mess wouldn’t had happened… The EU spectacularly failed for the MIGRANTS issue, so…

He stressed the importance of the Suez Canal where last year 17,000 vessels went through, meaning that the 12 centum of global annual cargo carriage/trade passes via the Red Sea and same is worth just over US$ 1 (one) trillion!!!

Critical expectations on the energy costs was another issue he tackled… he emphasised that if we opt for the alternative sources of energy, one thing will happen: Big Money will change hands…

He went on with Deglobalisation and Decarbonisation…

For the Greek National interests he made some comparisons with the distance between Greece and the two main war-zones in Ukraine and the Middle East as well as he explained the big gap of distance, cost et al, say on the distance between Shanghai and Piraeus via Suez, via the Cape of Good Hope and Panama – explaining also the current dry period Panama goes through with its canal lacking water…

The issue of Seafarers being in dangers from attacks by Houthi and indeed by others in the various War Zones

The North Sea Passage was also mentioned, but as he said: that could only serve the BRICS….

With Greece controlling 22 plus percent of the World Shipping Fleet he said and explained the Planet Ocean’s Sea-nation has vested interests for the sea-lanes to be safe for navigation…

He also mentioned that most of Planet Ocean’s straits and canals belong to Muslim Nations: Gib is 50-50, Constantinople’s Bosporus and the Dardanels, Suez, Aden, Hormuz, Malacca… and what is left is Kiel Canal, The Straits of Otranto, Panama Canal and The Straits of Magellan in Christina hands and control…

Finally, when journalist and political analyst George Vlachos – who was also live in Vergina TV’s Athens studio, asked John Faraclas on the level of the monthly wages masters receive, he agreed that youngsters and in particular Greek ones should opt like their forefathers to become Seafarers and have a better financial future…

The Parthenon Marbles and British attitude towards the Greeks in the United Kingdom was also discussed…

The interview was conducted by Sergios Kalogiros who was recently elected Councillor in Thessaloniki, Northern Greece during the recent local elections…

Wishes for the Festive Season and a message for Peace all over Planet Ocean….
