FSRU Alexandroupolis, the blessing ceremony

Representatives from GAC were out in force at the official blessing ceremony of the new #FSRU Alexandroupolis in northern Greece, on behalf of the vessel’s owners, Gaslog. 

The 153,500-m3 LNG capacity vessel, is connected to the country’s gas network via a 28-km pipeline through which gasified #LNG will be firstly distributed to the domestic market, and eventually in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia, Hungary and Moldova.

The ceremony was performed by Fr Konstantinos Kostakis and attended by Gaslog COO Kostas Karathanos, Gastrade FSRU Operations Manager Christos Tsoumaris and Gastrade PFSO Nikos Passadis, as well as GAC’s Senior Group Marketing Manager Nikos Marmatsouris, GAC Marine Logistics Manager Harris Theodorakis and Manager of GAC’s Alexandroupolis branch, Athanasios Karelis.
