LONDON APRIL 23rd, 2018: Shipping Innovation is delighted to welcome Mersey Maritime as a supporting organisation of the International Maritime Forum – a global maritime and supply chain conference to be held on June 21stas part of the Liverpool-based International Business Festival (IBF).
The International Maritime Forum, titled: The Northern Maritime Powerhouse: Driving global trade post-Brexit, will look at how digitalisation and increased connectivity can enhance port processes and drive innovation to boost global trade.
It will discuss blockchain technologies and Big Data in the context of streamlining shipping and port operations to the lasting benefit of the end-users as well as the importers and exporters. Organised by Shipping Innovation, creator of London International Shipping Week, this high-level forum is designed to spark lively debate among key ports, shippers and supply chain leaders.

Sean Moloney, Director of Shipping Innovation, welcomed the news that the representative body for the maritime industry in the North-West of the UK is joining the conference as a supporting organisation. He praised the work of Mersey Maritime in highlighting the excellent work shipping and the supply chain undertakes in this important part of the world.
