Half way through this unique international exhibition at London’s Earl’s Court allaboutshipping.co.uk paid tribute to St.Niklaous (aka Santa Claus) and transport. Last night one of our teams visited the British Nation’s best-loved festive home show!

With over 650 exhibitors from all over the world showcasing quality products and services and thousands of visitors, this five-day event must never be missed. With eight sectors – Christmas Decorations; Christmas Gifts; The Christmas Ice Ring; Fashion & Beauty; Food & Drink; Home improvements; Interiors & Home Accessories, and Technology & Gadgets, and a lot of great places to eat, visitors had / have the chance to listen to talks from a team of celebrity ambassadors at the show, and do their pre-Christmas shopping.

Charity too at the forefront with Great Ormond Street Hospital, an interesting feature, given the need for intensive treatment for children in need, particularly as this, unfortunately, happens over the Christmas period too.

Despite the world’s worse economic crisis the response for this exhibition was encouraging to all intents and purposes and gave the chance for may to capitulate on the exhibitors special prices and offers.

A very well manned press office headed by Lorraine Fraser and her team greeted  and assisted us for our short but interesting tour.

For us in the shipping industry as well as in the age of intermodalism, logistics and globalization, we know and understand more than other groups the importance of basically the container trade of all kinds and types, making the concentration of all these products in the most ergonomic and economic way the impetus for this and other exhibitions success to the benefit of all parties concerned.
