Life at sea with bright but tranquil colors express Andreas Theologitis’ photography
As we announced on the 2nd of September today was the private view of yet another maritime event at the Friends Room in London’s Hellenic Centre. Anny Zade writes:
Maritime Art is what we support ever since ALLABOUTSHIPPING come into being, as it brings together around Planet Ocean artists of diverse artistic background: Photographers, painters, sculptors, musicians and book writers to name but a few!
Earlier tonight we had the rare chance to see Andreas Theologtis’ photographic work on the Hellenic Boats he meticulously “selected” and “focused” upon with his camera’s lenses and other means of photography before the guests arrived so that we can talk and listen to his story and pathos of whatever floats…and must be …shot!

Thirty-one pictures were in displayed in groups depicting life at sea the Greeks know, with all due respect, better than anyone else in Planet Ocean! Fishermen, shiprepair yards, lay-up regions where idle ships “rest” until business is found or recycling is available… Did I hear you say: reflections? All was there!
A highly recommended exhibition which travels; last …ports of call where Brussels, New York, Washington and of course Piraeus.
It is an honor that the journey continues during September 2016 in the Hellenic Centre of London, as London is also the Administrative Capital of Shipping!
Arts faithful can contact the artist and express their interest on The Photography of Andreas Theologitis on http://photography.atheo.eu and or email: photography.atheo@gmail.com

Hope that we can find more opportunities to collaborate.
Best regards
